Massachusetts Medical Society Awards $20,000 grant to KBEP
KBEP recently received a generous $20,000 grant from the Massachusetts Medical Society & Alliance Charitable Foundation.
The Massachusetts Medical Society & Alliance Charitable Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations and works with
communities throughout the state to address issues that affect the health, benefit and
welfare of the community. The grant will
support a full time educator to expand KBEP’s school based dating violence recognition and prevention program for students in Southeastern Massachusetts. “We’re honored by their support of our work,” says Sara Whitney, KBEP Executive Director. “They’re a wonderful Foundation representing some 18,000 physicians and student members of the Massachusetts Medical Society,” she continues, “and we’re proud to be associated with them. We are very grateful.”
